Spring in Vancouver

Time flies, Spring is here already. I love spring because of all the beautiful flowers. It is Easter holiday now. I have 4 days off. My friend Karen from Qingdao is visiting Vancouver for a couple weeks. We went to VanDusen Garden on Saturday. It is a bit early for flowers, but the Garden is still colorful with all the with azaleas, hyacinths, Magnolias, Camellia, Daffodil, and of course Cherry Blossom as well.

It is so beautiful there and we were both having so much fun until Karen relized she lost her camera. We right away went back to check on the bench she remember she took her last photo for the beautiful yellow flowers. Unfortunally the camera was not there any more. This could have ruined our day. But I always believe in the kindness and honesty in Canadian people. Guess what? We met the old lady who found the camera in the front door when we tried the lost and found at the front desk. She was signing a lost and found form. It didn't take long for them to make sure the camera belong to my friend because we knew where we left the camera and there are our images in memory stick too.

As I always believe, Canadian are very nice and honest. I'm very grateful I'm here with them.
