I went to Queen Elizabeth Park for a long walk with Yukari the other day. The Cherry blossoms are really breath taking. I love the smell of the flowers, the smell of the fresh cut grasses, the smell of spring.
Hello Christine, you finally re-activate yourself on the Internet! Hehe, actually I know you from your impressive homepage about Xiaolan, my , oh no, our hometown. Since I first saw it about 2 years ago, I know you loved Xiaolan, as much as I do (at least), and I've been looking for chance to contact you and make friends with you. Now I see you your brand new blog, so I can't miss this chance. :) Nice to meet you.
Thanks Jin-jun for your comments. The Satellite picture of Xiaolan is amazing. You must work on it for a long time. I wonder why the new Xiaolan Governement building area is not clear. Thanks again for sharing with me. Keep in touch! Christine
Oh, it is simply because Google Earth doesn't have high resolution satellite pictures of east Xiaolan. I am not the only one who have contributed to this Xiaolan map. Actually, everybody (thus, u as well) is invited to add more places to, and edit existing places on it.
Hi Christine, you seem to be away from hometown for quite a while. Your memory of Xiaolan must have been frozen to some ten years ago. Since Xiaolan is changing fast, I would like to listen to your stories back then about Xiaolan.
hehe,my base is in Xiaolan. That means I need to recharge myself once every year there. Recently, it is during Chinese new year I am at my base. It's great if we can meet in Xiaolan someday in the future. :)
You're lucky! :-) I only go back to visit once a couple years the most. I probably will be there this summer for a month or so. I don't really enjoy staying in the airplane for such a long time. :-(
