Trans-Canada Trail walk

2 weekends in a roll, I went for a long walk along the Trans-Canada Trail. Last week, we started from Grandview Island and head east for the Vancouver section . Yesterday, we started from the Templeton School at Adanac and Lakewood in East Vancouver head east along the trail all the way to Kensington Park for the Burnaby section, 3 hour walk. We haven't finished this section yet. I hope I can continue on this walk before my trip to China. Along the trail, we can see the Indian Arm and Cates Park across the ocean. Part of the trail is in the woods, there lots of raspberries along the trail, we were walking, picking berries, eating along the trail. It is lots of fun!

It is rainy today. The Jazz Festival is on in Vancouver. I hope next weekend I can join the festival to have some fun.

Dragon Boat Festival

Today I went to the Dragon Boat Festival. The Vancouver Dragon Boat festival is the second biggest after Hongkong's. I didn't spend enough time there since I was with a group of friends walking along the transcanada trail Vancouver session.

At the end of our 4 hour walk, we joined the community festival on Commercial Drive. The festival is to promote no driving/car day. It is really a fun day of walk!
