Symphony in the Park

I went to a long walk in Burnaby Mountain yesterday afternoon. The scenery is so nice. I didn't know we can actually see Vancouver Island from the top of the mountain until today.

In the evening I went for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concert at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. There are lots of people under the sunset enjoying the beautiful music. What more can I ask for?

Happy Canada Day

On Canada Day, I went for a long walk with a group of friends. We started from Park Royal in West Vancouver, along Capilano Pacific Trail, cross Ambleside Park, Capilano River Regional Park, the Fish Hatchery, Cleveland Dam, Capilano Lake. We stopped at Capilano Suspension Bridge for the Jazz Concert at the last day of Jazz festival. We even tried the new tree top walk there. It was lots of fun.

Later in the evening we took a seabus back to Canada Place for the firework. During the firework, people started to sing the National anthem. It is really touching. We are so proud to be Canadian. Even though I was not born and raised here, but I love Canada as much as I love China. If one day I have to leave Canada, I will miss being here just like the way I miss being in China sometimes.
